I drove a 500 triple in Travis ny I was 10 years old getting off a mini bike to this and I was going 115 miles per hour it was a 69 with 2000 dollars into the motor it was the experience of my life lol❤ that speed machine

Allow me to rehabilitate OCC’s reputation if you will lol. Look, they were a small shop that built cool theme bikes for CEO’s and/or companies. And that’s ok. The shows were very entertaining (although I could have done without the disrespect the son showed his father) and it brought a lot of people into the motorcycle scene who never would have come otherwise. Oh, and my brother just visited OCC Road House in Clearwater Fl, said it’s awesome!

My go-to back in the day. Had several 500 and 750's. Great drag bikes but handle like a lead brick. I enjoyed the 500 more than the big brother. Good set of pipes and a little port work and they were a different animal. I still have several of my Rd Yamaha, handle much better and still plenty of power if built right.

H1 500 was called murdercycle in my town in the 70s. it had a high speed death wobble and killed 2 ppl i knew and several others in my area had death defying wrecks

I owned a 750 decades ago. It was the most uncomfortable and the worst handling bike, ever. Brakes were scary, too. They are fast bikes, though, for something built a half century ago. Back then I couldnt get rid of it fast enough. Now.......hindsight.

Rode a 500 and 750 extremely fast... extremely scary power band, wheelies while shifting not me, I am not that good of a rider, scared to just ride it especially them being not my motorcycles, the two examples that I rode were dangerous, plain and simple.... they didn't call those Kawasaki triples widowmakers for nothing.
